I had been watching Vivs videos and instagram posts regarding her Brutal Camp and always really admired the girls taking part. I wanted to try it but was so unmotivated and nervous. Then in May 2021 I was going for a night out and was a shadow of my former self . I looked at myself in the mirror and thought i can either eat my feelings and get unhealthier or put my self out my comfort zone and contact Viv.
I started off participating in the outdoor classes in middle of May 2021 and i have never looked back. I was worried about putting myself out my comfort zone , I shouldn’t have wasted so much time worrying as i instantly felt comfortable and relaxed in Vivs environment.
I then became a 12 week member in August 2021 and Viv trained me and a group of 3 other girls on a Sunday morning. These Sundays mornings were filled with laughs and large coffees and even ways to offload any stress we may have had .
Not only is Viv there to improve our self esteem and fitness she continually
looks for ways to improve our
mental health also by organising seminars, days out and team bonding days.
Vivs gym is a safe environment for our children too where they are always made to
feel welcome, she understands the stress and problems single parents and people with childcare issues face when it comes to exercising. She’s created a place that mums and kids enjoy going to and it’s great to let my kids see me working out and looking after myself mentally and physically 💪

Before I started working with Viv I had done all the crash diets and lost weight for events etc but the minute they were over the weight piled back in and more. I reached out to Viv after watching her videos during lockdown as I started to become worried about my health and the impact my weight was having. I began working with Viv and my attitude towards dieting and exercise totally changed. Viv made me realise I didn’t have to starve myself and it was ok to have those treats at the weekend without beating myself up. I quickly began to understand it was a lifestyle change and not a diet and I’ve successfully managed to lost three stone and keep that off. My relationship hasn’t only changed with food but also exercise, I don’t see it as a chore or something I have to do but something I want to do and something that I enjoy. I now don’t dread when social events come up trying to find an outfit and I don’t hide away anymore as I have a totally different lifestyle and way of thinking now and it’s all thanks to Viv ❤️

I started working with Viv around 6 months before my wedding, I was on maternity leave at the time having had my 2nd baby 5 months before. I was pregnant through lockdown which I think definitely contributed to the amount of weight I gained. After having my son I was the heaviest I’d ever been, only fitting into my maternity clothes.
At this point my confidence and mental health was in the toilet, I decided enough was enough and I had to do something about it, with the wedding looming I was determined not to hate myself in my wedding photos. I’d followed Viv on Instagram for a while and felt her gym was exactly what I was looking for. I started going to classes and loved it from the get go, the minute Viv opened up some group PT spots I was straight in there with an application, that was a year and a half ago now and I’ve never looked back!
I can honestly say joining the wee pt gym has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, to say it’s changed my life is an understatement. Not only did Viv help me to feel amazing on my wedding day, she’s gently encouraged me to keep at it even after the wedding. I’m now fitter and healthier than I’ve ever been both physically and mentally! As someone who’s never stuck a diet or the gym and previously hated exercise, to not only have kept at it for as long as I have but to actually enjoy exercise is nothing short of amazing.
The wee pt gym is more than just a gym, it’s a community and such a lovely place to be. There is no service out there that even begins to compare to what Viv offers, from zoom cook alongs, to free classes, mental health masterclasses and so much more! FAQ
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS?
In order to see change in your body and lifestyle habits it will take at least 90 days but you will feel better almost immediately. Feel confident that you are optimising your time.
HOW MANY STEPS DO I NEED TO GET?
You are required to hit a weekly target of 56k-70k steps. This makes staying leaner so much easier as you are burning an additional 200-500 calories per day.
WHAT SORTS OF FOOD WILL I NEED TO EAT?
We will be using a flexible dieting approach. You will be tracking your calories. There will be no restriction on any food. We have templates to follow and they can consist of your favourite nutritious foods.
DO I NEED TO TRAIN DAILY?
You will be provided with a personalised training program that should be performed ideally at least 2-3 times a week depending on your worload for the week.
WHAT IF I'M GOING OUT FOR A MEAL AND I CAN'T TRACK MY FOOD?
You will budget in a certain amount of calories to allow for the meal and not worry about tracking it. We have systems in place from banking calories throughout the week to varying the distribution of calories over the course of the day.
DO I NEED TO WORRY ABOUT MACRONUTRIENTS?
The only main two areas we will be focussing on is calories & protein to start with. You can integrate your food tracking app with mine so I can see what you are eating.
WHAT IF I CAN'T REACH THE REQUIRED STEP COUNT?
Maybe you could catch them up on the weekend or we can set a goal that is sustainable. We can make it a weekly target, not a daily one. Cardio can be used if you are particularly sedentary one day.
